My wife Abby and I have known John for many years and knew right away that he would be the perfect singer for our wedding reception in December 2001. We had high expectations that were greatly surpassed. John listened attentively to what we wanted, not only in terms of songs, but of overall mood. His set, on the terrace of a restaurant in Wanchai North, on a cool, clear December evening, set the tone of warm family celebration. I look back at the photos now and see the big smiles on that happy occasion and can hear John’s silky voice in my head. He was able to incorporate material outside his regular repertoire and create a set of music that was exactly what we wanted. 

When we were planning our 10th anniversary in 2011, in a different restaurant, with a different crowd, we knew the best way to replicate the mood of our wedding was to have John sing. And yet again, he delivered an amazing performance bringing back wonderful memories for my wife and I, as well as those guests that had been at both events. We have recommended John to friends who have all had rave reviews and we would not hesitate to recommend John to anyone planning an event. He is easy to work with, listens to requests, is honest with what he can and can’t do and his smile is extremely infectious!   

Thank you so much for being there for the New Year. I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it as I had to be at PLAY that night.  I would've loved to meet you in person. I'm glad you and your band had a great performance and I trust that you were looked after as well.
